Cleaning photovoltaic modules allows no approximation. Using tap water or domestic equipment constitutes a serious technical error that can permanently damage your installations. SunOvaCore exclusively employs 100% deionized water, produced via reverse osmosis directly aboard our mobile units.
Β« Tap water contains carbonates, residual chlorine, and dissolved mineral salts. Under solar evaporation, these compounds crystallize into micro-prisms that deflect photons away from silicon cells, nullifying any performance improvement. Β»
The dead-end of domestic detergents
Some operators imagine accelerating the process with household detergents or standard glass cleaners. The effect obtained is exactly the opposite. Surfactant agents deposit an invisible but adhesive chemical film on the glass surface.
This residue behaves like a particle magnet: in the days following the intervention, pollen and atmospheric soot encrust themselves at double the speed, instantly neutralizing the benefits of the operation and accelerating the re-soiling process.

The principle of deionized water: natural solvent
Water purified of all its minerals spontaneously seeks to rebalance itself by absorbing the impurities it encounters. It then becomes a formidable cleaning agent, capable of dissolving atmospheric grease and biological deposits without any mechanical aggression.
Coupled with our specifically calibrated ultra-soft bristle brushes, it guarantees streak-free drying and preserves the integrity of the original anti-reflective treatment applied to your modules.
Our technical protocol in parameters
- Residual conductivity: strictly below 5 Β΅S/cm (versus 300 to 600 Β΅S/cm for tap water).
- Application temperature: ambient, eliminating any thermal shock on tempered glass.
- Application pressure: controlled (< 3 bar), compliant with manufacturer recommendations.
- Consumption: approximately 3 litres of pure water per module, or 60 to 90 litres for a standard residential installation.
